Projects

One Off Makery’s participatory community projects have included a giant spider made from discarded teddy bears, a world spun from baling twine, and an immersive forest built from scavenged materials, complete with a realistic soundscape gleaned from junk.

To date, more than 5,800 people across the Mid North Coast and NSW have actively participated in One Off Makery projects, with over 60,000 people coming to see the Frugal Forest on its NSW tour. The Frugal Forest Project was awarded an Excellence in the Environment Award by Local Government NSW in 2016.
